It is open enrollment time! The Open Enrollment period for the plan year beginning January 1, 2020 will be held November 11, 2019 through December 6, 2019. Below you will find benefit summaries and plan comparisons for the upcoming plan year.
A few helpful tips and important notes:
-
PRE 65 RETIREES – You are eligible for BCBS Plan offerings, VSP plan offerings, and Delta Dental plan offerings.
-
If you select Plan F, you are also eligible to enroll in the Plan F Health Savings Account (HSA), but enrollment is not required.
-
If you do elect to enroll in the Plan F HSA, please indicate the monthly amount you wish to deposit in your HSA account. Chard Snyder will deduct this amount from your account and deposit directly into your HSA account.
-
-
POST 65 RETIREES – You are eligible for UHC plan offerings, VSP plan offerings, and Delta Dental plan offerings.
-
Pre and Post 65 school contributions and OTRS subsidies for 2019 benefits remain in effect for the 2020 plan year.
-
Remember, adding new dependents to your existing plans, increasing current coverages, or adding coverage(s) you are not currently enrolled in is not permitted.
-
If you are currently enrolled in ACH deduction for your premiums, new enrollment is not necessary. If you are not presently enrolled in ACH deduction and would like to do so, please return the Auto Draft ACH Authorization form included in the packet.
As a reminder, since retirees pay for coverage in arrears, any change(s) in premiums and/or change(s) you elect during open enrollment will be reflected on your February 1st ACH deduction.
If you do not wish to make any changes to your current elections, no further action is necessary on your part.
If you do wish to make changes and do not submit the enrollment documentation by December 6, 2019, you will be auto-enrolled in your current 2019 elections for the 2020 plan year.
If you have any questions, please contact Chard Snyder 888-993-4646. We look forward to supporting your retirement health needs!
Thank you!
